Want to get more nutrients and vitamins into your system in one easy hit? Smoothies are a delicious start to your day and can give your immune system a boost at the same time. Best of all, they are one of the easiest things you can make! Here are just a few of the tasty smoothie recipes we’ve found online that you can enjoy at home.
Breakfast Super Shake
Contrary to popular belief, whole milk is not the devil – having full fat milk or yoghurt in the morning can actually benefit your health! This smoothie is high in naturally occurring fats and sugars from whole milk and fruit, which are much better for us than artificial fats and sugars that can be found in a lot of processed food these days. It is better to eat fat-rich foods in the morning, as it gives them time to be used as energy, in contrast to when they are eaten at night and not used when we are sleeping.
What you’ll need: Full fat milk, natural yoghurt, banana, frozen fruits of the forest, blueberries, chia seeds, cinnamon, goji berries, mixed seeds and honey (ideally Manuka).

Groovy Green Smoothie For Kids
Struggling to get your children to eat their greens? This smoothie will fool them into it! The sweet taste of the fruit will mask the healthy spinach lurking within…
What you’ll need: Banana, green grapes, vanilla yoghurt, apple and fresh spinach leaves.
