Run out of ideas for Mother’s Day? Instead of resorting to flowers and chocolates again, why not surprise her with one of these easy-to-make cosmetics?

Citrus Facial Toner

This citrus facial toner will leave mum’s face feeling fresh and invigorated! Lemon is a natural exfoliator, as well as smelling delicious, whilst the addition of orange helps to unclog pores and prevent acne or wrinkles. The carrier oil for this serum is almond oil, which also doubles up as a protector against UV radiation and doesn’t leave your skin feeling oily. This facial toner is the perfect homemade gift for mums who want to look and feel fresh!

You’ll need: Fresh Lemons, Filtered Water, Almond Oil, Vegetable Glycerine, Orange Essential Oil and Fractionated Coconut Oil.

Orange Blossom & Vanilla Bean Milk Bath

Got a mum that loves nothing more than to relax in the bath for hours on end? Then this incredible-smelling milk bath mixture will be right up her street! Once ready, all your mum has to do is empty the jar into warm bath water and enjoy as the mixture dissolves, leaving an enticing aroma and her skin feeling supple.

You’ll need: Powdered Goat’s Milk (or Buttermilk/Coconut Milk), Epsom Salt, Neroli Essential Oil, Vanilla Beans and Natural Dye (optional).
